The Samsung Galaxy S4: The SmartPhone You Have Been Waiting For!

The world almost waited with held breath as the Samsung Galaxy S4 was unveiled. Its predecessor, the S3 has managed to get the most out of the world’s attention. Samsung has been a leader in smartphone technology and its flagship series has definitely put the company and Android OS on the map. The popularity of the smartphone extends just beyond professional users and the Galaxy series has come to  represent a whole population of people who use the phone to get everyday things done- -and done well at that! So when the news of S4 and its features hit the market, it indeed had a lot to live up to. Here are some of the things that users have been looking forward to hearing about.

1.Design.  Just by looking at the phone you can tell that the design is quite similar to that of its previous version. If you look a little closer you’ll find that there are some small and technical improvements over the S3 for example, it has a squarer flat finish.  The design may not be visually awing but looking at Samsung’s past this isn’t all that surprising.

2.Screen. Size seems to be a big thing when it comes to all the latest smartphone releases and The screen is a 5 inch super AMOLED screen with full HD resolution at 1920x1080p.The overall effect is an eye popping 441 PPI image density and there is no doubt that the screen has totally hit a home run for the phone.

3.Camera. There can never be much talk of a high end smartphone without mention of its camera. The camera on the S4 does seem to be a bit of an improvement over the S3; you get more features and the front camera is 2 megapixels rather than 1.9. The image quality may not be anything much to boast about but the features such as the zero shutter lag. For video you get 1080p full HD video recording. Overall the camera isn’t the snazziest around but there are enough features to keep you entertained.

4.Interface and OS. The interface seems to be the same here too as both the S3 and the new S4 run the same TouchWiz version of the Android OS and on the surface look the same. But in actuality the S4 is truly a different phone with new features, functions and software additives to boast of. And if you get the right kind of android apps you can really turn your phone into a powerful machine. The set runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean directly and has many features which are similar to that of the Nexus 4. Key Lime Pie is due anytime soon and we can expect Galaxy to have the update soon- -meaning the phone would get a lot more worth right then and there.

Battery Life. Battery and charging is something that everyone is always looking for a solution to, some phones have already introduced wireless charging and are running with it but The S4 comes with no such news. Instead it does have a pretty powerful battery at 2600mAH that can guarantee about 17 hours of talk time.
